Trip Options

Half Day: 6:30am – 12:00pm

What to Bring

Wading boots or sturdy shoes suitable for rocky streambeds

Hat, long-sleeve shirt, sunscreen, and polarized sunglasses

Waterproof your camera if bringing one

Tackle Overview

4lb mono, 1000-size reel, 2–4kg rod

Small surface poppers, unweighted plastics
Fly

5–6wt rods with floating line (shooting heads preferred)

Hoppers, large dries, foam bugs, small streamers, poppers (up to size 1/0)

Long casts and fast strips – far more aggressive than trout fishing
