Trip Details:

• Your journey begins in Cairns, Far North Queensland.
• Scenic one-hour flight to Lizard Island.
• Upon arrival, the friendly Aroona and  crew will be waiting at the airstrip to take your bags.
• Your luggage will be  transferred onboard  on a 7-day adventure of remote saltwater fly fishing.
• Lizard Island serves as the ideal starting point, offering amazing flats on the route north.
• Aroona travels at night to maximize your fishing time, allowing you to fish different flats each day.

The Fishing Focus:

• The primary focus of this adventure is tropical flats
• Wide range of species, including Permit, GT, Tusk fish, Blue Bastard, Napoleon Wrasse, Trigger Fish, Golden Trevally, and many more.
• Our last trip saw 40+ different species landed in the week.
• Trip dates are books over optimal tides providing ample time for wading.
• Option to do a mix of Barramundi fishing at Princess Charlotte Bay
• Skiffs are equipped with electric motors for high water exploration, allowing you to access edges, bommies, and coastal rivers in pursuit of Barramundi.
